Year 3 were invited by Ms Bijnens of the Senior School Science Department to visit the beautiful pond area at the Senior School and explore the wildlife. The Senior School Eco Club have been busy developing biodiversity within the school and have recently been awarded a Distinction by the Eco-Schools Green Flag scheme. 

After a delicious lunch, the girls had a wonderful time pond dipping, where they found plenty of creatures including a couple of newts; meeting and feeding the guinea pigs; and painting rocks to decorate the pond area. To finish our visit, everyone in Year 3 received a Blue Peter badge and stickers.  

The girls had a fantastic afternoon at the Senior School, working closely with nature and with each other.
