Kicking off Half Term with Pop Fest

This half term kicked off with Pop Fest, which took us through the decades from the 1950s culminating with the 2010s.

We saw some of our larger groups such as Sinfonia and Vocalise perform, along with Rock Band, The Rolling Tones, Need for Reed, Glee club and a debut performance by our newest ensemble, Mini Rock Band.

A number of girls formed small groups to showcase their talents at Pop Fest and as always, we are grateful for so much parental support, particularly when we culminated with a karaoke version of Uptown Funk!

We had lots of Year 7 girls taking to the stage and I’m looking forward to seeing their musicianship and performance skills develop over the coming years.
