With a generous starting donation from the BHSA, the Design department is launching its own Bamboo Bike Making Club.

This picture is of a bicycle made from bamboo. The model is a scale prototype of a frame made from bamboo straws (see the pencil for some idea of scale), and the girls are hugely looking forward to the opportunities this presents.

With a focus on sustainability this is REALLY exciting news. Thank you BHSA!
