Getting their voices heard in Greenman Competition

On Friday 15 February the whole school gathered into the Theatre to view the annual Greenman Speaking Competition. The students all spoke and showcased their persuasive skills so well. All students in Years 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 took part, plus a willing few from Year 12!

There were a range of topics which included: love is all we need, money always buys happiness, organ donation should be made compulsory, we do not really have free will and beauty pageants should be banned. All students raised some interesting points and explored ideas in a detailed and persuasive manner.

Congratulations to all participants of the Greenman Competition, but particular congratulations to Scarlet Rose in Year 12 for winning the whole school prize for her speech! Congratulations to you, Scarlet Rose!
