Junior School pupils were excited to reunite for their Buddy Group session, a much-loved programme that brings together up to 16 pupils from Reception to Year 6, all from the same House and led by a member of staff. Pupils stay in their Buddy Group throughout their time at Juniors, building strong connections through collaborative, team-building activities that nurture a sense of belonging and friendship. 

This half term’s session was inspired by our Diversity and Inclusion Calendar theme, “Ready to Learn.” Pupils shared their favourite picture books, sparking joyful conversations and memories. It was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with buddies across year groups and to warmly welcome our newest members from Reception. Older pupils took the lead in reading to their younger peers, helping to foster lasting friendships and a love of learning across the school community.
