We are delighted to say that 37 Year 10s have enrolled on the Silver Duke of Edinburgh’s Award this year! They will be braving the autumn elements in October when they embark on a 3-day practice expedition in Kent. They recently spent the day getting prepared for the big expedition. On the training menu was putting up tents, mapping routes using Ordnance Survey maps, planning food for 3 days and a refresher on using a compass. 

This half term we are thrilled to award 38 Bronze Duke of Edinburgh certificates and a further 3 Silver Awards. Huge congratulations to all the girls – you worked hard at it, showing your perseverance, teamwork and resolve to succeed in the challenges set.
