Our very own Fantastic Places: Year 7 Humanities field trip
Year 7 were lucky to dodge the showers this week on their visit to Greenwich as part of a Humanities field trip.
Year 7 are currently studying their local area in their History lessons, and they have just begun a unit of work in Geography called ‘Fantastic Places.’ Year 7 undertook a variety of qualitative Geography fieldwork techniques in Greenwich Park and visited the iconic Cutty Sark. They will be using their research to complete a competitive piece of work on the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
This is a lovely example of departments working together, interweaving the school curriculums, while having fun!
