This is an exciting opportunity for everyone in the school to use their creativity to design an original Christmas card using ideas and materials of their choice – the more unique and innovative the better.

There will be a selection process which will result in two or three chosen designs being professionally printed and used as the official school Christmas card for this year. The winning artists will also receive a prize. There is no set ‘theme’ so you are free to create your own personal idea, but you may want to consider how you imagine this year’s festive season may have to be celebrated in a different way. Even if your card design is not selected, we intend to display every single entry in a special exhibition taking place in school later this term.

Some top tips:

• Simple ideas work best 
• Play to your strengths when selecting materials and processes 
• Think about how well your intended design may appear when copied/printed  
• Fill in your name + form and had it to your tutor
