Reaching the High notes in the Long Notes Competition
The annual Long Notes Competition has been running since 2014 and for the first time, entries were made by video.
This year saw a change to the rules which allowed woodwind instruments to participate for the first time. Having been unsure how many entries I would receive, I spent a happy Sunday afternoon listening and timing each video and was amazed at the lung power of some of our students!
The 2020 winner is Lillia-Rose who managed to hold a sustained note for 30 seconds.
Congratulations to Lillia-Rose and thank you to everyone who took the time to enter one of the more ‘unique’ house compeitions.
