Open Studios: Blackheath High School's annual Art Exhibition 2019

You are warmly invited to the annual Art Exhibition which opens on Thursday 20 June 2019 from 6-8.30pm.

This year we have created a more extensive display of work in order to utilise some of our fantastic new buildings and gallery spaces. The Wollstonecraft Room will house an exciting collection of work from all of the GCSE and A Level students who have studied Art and Textiles this year, including impressive examples of drawing, painting, sculpture, printing and mixed-media work.

On the third floor of the Datchelor Building, the Design department will be showcasing a range of innovative and creative 3D outcomes that includes a whole year group architectural project plus pewter cast and acrylic laser cut panels from Year 8. If you have a head for heights, you can also visit the Sixth Form Art studio on the fifth floor to view the work of our Year 12 Art and Textiles students, something that should not be missed!

This is a great opportunity to join us in celebrating the hard work and achievements of all of these students. The exhibition will also be open on Friday 21 June between 4-6pm.
