Year 1 explored a hands-on festive challenge to construct their own Christmas trees. Armed with curiosity and plenty of creative flair, they started out experimenting with the Beaverbot Cardboard Cutter before moving on to Makedo tools, working collaboratively to shape, join, and decorate their designs.  

This was a wonderful opportunity to develop their problem-solving skills and their imaginative thinking, as well as a joyful celebration of creativity, teamwork, and festive spirit. The classroom buzzed with excitement as each tree took its unique form, reflecting the girls’ growing confidence with real tools and materials.
