Netball 

• Year 6 Netball team went up against Croydon High in a great show of determination and resilience. Although we didn’t come home with a win, we were proud of the effort the girls put into the game. The players of the match were Amiah-Rae, Saadat, Tabbie and Isla as chosen by the other team.  

• In our Year 5 Netball match against Sydenham High, pupils demonstrated collaboration and determination throughout. Two out of our three teams won their games, and all demonstrated wonderful effort 

• Our Year 6 Netball teams had a fantastic set of matches against Colfe’s. Two teams came away with impressive wins (the scores were 8–0 and 9–1 to Blackheath), while another team fought hard and only narrowly missed out, with a 4–3 loss in the final seconds. A brilliant effort all round — well done to every player! The players of the match as chosen by the other team were – Duru, Bea and Amiah-Rae. 

• In our latest matches against Sydenham High, Year 4 A & C beat Sydenham, while our Bs held a draw! The scores were: A - 7-2, B- 0-0, C - 1-0 – with a great all-round effort and teamwork. 

Cross country & football rally 

• Several pupils in Year 5 & Year 6 were selected to represent Blackheath High at the GDST Cross Country and Football rally taking place at Croydon High. The football team finished 10th out of 17 teams, and in Cross Country every participant in the Year 5 & Year 6 team finished within the top 30 (out of over 80 runners) and Eloisa came 4th overall. A great effort!
