Our Nursery and Reception girls had a brilliant time at Sutcliffe Park, taking part in a free-flow gymnastics session hosted by Greenwich Royals Gymnastics Club. Guided by their teachers and the club’s expert coaches, they tackled a mix of fun and challenging activities designed to build confidence, coordination, and teamwork. Highlights of the session included:
Climbing, swinging and balancing on apparatus
Bouncing on trampolines and springboards
Running and jumping along trampolines
Jumping off high boxes into the giant foam pit
Balancing on beams and leaping off with confidence
Swinging on bars and attempting supported forward rolls
Crawling through foam pits and tunnels.
The free-flow style of the session gave the girls the chance to explore at their own pace, building confidence as they went. Many overcame initial nerves about jumping from heights, and by the end everyone was smiling and full of pride at what they had achieved. It was a wonderful experience for all, and the girls should feel very proud of their efforts!
