This term, five Year 12 students had the extraordinary opportunity to attend the book launch of Dame Jacinda Ardern’s memoir ‘A Different Kind of Power’, hosted at Wimbledon High School. As New Zealand’s 40th Prime Minister and a global advocate for empathetic leadership, Ardern shared powerful reflections on her rise to office at just 37, her response to global crises, and her belief in leading with compassion and conviction. 

The event offered a rare glimpse into the mindset of a leader who redefined governance through empathy, inclusion, and strength - a message that deeply resonated with our students.
