It’s been a real joy to see the excitement sparked by our new microscopes in Nature Club and across the Junior School, funded by the generous support of the BHSA. These amazing tools have opened up a whole new world for the girls, letting them explore the tiny details of everyday objects that often go unnoticed. 

There’s been a real sense of wonder as pupils examined leaves, stones, sticks, and seed pods - objects they’ve seen many times, now revealed in a completely different light. The room was full of gasps, wows, and “Come and look at this!” moments, as they eagerly shared their discoveries with friends. It’s a lovely reminder of how powerful hands-on learning can be. 

Science Club members have also been busy mastering the microscopes, learning how to take photos and videos of their findings, and investigating all sorts of fascinating classroom specimens. It’s clear that this fantastic donation from the BHSA is already making a big impact, nurturing curiosity, collaboration, and a growing love for science and the natural world.
