Year 3 thoroughly enjoyed their recent trip to the British Museum, where they were able to visit the Ancient Egyptian galleries and further their knowledge of this fascinating topic. Highlights included the Rosetta Stone, impressive statues and tomb entrances with incredibly detailed carvings and hieroglyphics, and of course, plenty of mummies. 

After lunch, pupils took part in a fun, hands-on workshop to create their own Ancient Egyptian tomb paintings, using iPads and green screens.
