My first month as Head Girl

Read this note from our Sixth Form head girl.

Since becoming Head Girl a month ago, myself and the Head Girl team have fully committed to our responsibilities. Our first job was organising a Mufti day for the Make a Wish Foundation, an important charity to the school and to former Blackheath High Prefect Banke, who came in to talk to us about the charity.

All the current Prefects are involved in different aspects of school life from Music to Maths, Drama and Debating. We all have ideas on how to improve our working environment and by utilising our strengths, we can make positive changes. These experiences help us accomplish our own personal goals, for example, I want to work on my confidence in public speaking. This will be challenging but I know that being surrounded by a good support system will help me along the way. We all want to make the school proud, and I am so excited to see what the year has in store for us.
