This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher of Drama with excellent leadership skills to play a pivotal role in a well-resourced and flourishing Drama Department.

As the Head of Drama you will have overall responsibility for the professional leadership and management of the department. Leading by example, you will ensure that high standards of teaching and learning are delivered.

If you have significant successful experience in Drama as a teacher, Second in Department or Head of Department and have the ambition to make a significant impact on the success of the school and to enhance the girls' education we would be delighted to hear from you.

About the Drama Department

The Drama Department at Blackheath High School is a very popular, dynamic and successful Department, with a proven track record of excellence at GCSE and A level. We have a full co-curricular programme of clubs and events including whole school performances - plays and musicals in partnership with the Music Department, a backstage theatre club known as TechTastic, and our annual Inter-House Drama competition.
