This is an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified and passionate Teacher of Philosophy, Religion & Ethics to join a thriving and successful Philosophy, Religion & Ethics Department within an exceptional school, with excellent facilities.

There is the opportunity to teach across the whole age range, up to and including A Level Philosophy, Religion & Ethics. The ability to offer teaching within our Wollstonecraft Enrichment programme would be an advantage.

Students attain excellent examination results and Philosophy, Religion & Ethics is a popular subject. The successful candidate will demonstrate equal passion for their subject and working with young students. Staff are expected to contribute to our co-curricular programme.

Founded in 1880 by the Girls’ Day School Trust (GDST), the UK’s leading network of independent girls’ schools, Blackheath High School is a selective school for girls aged 3–18 and was rated “excellent” in our most recent ISI Inspection (2014).
