Graduate/Under-Graduate Sports Assistant

Required from: January - July 2023

Contract term: Fixed Term 7 Month Contract

Hours: Full time, 36 Hours per week, Term Time only

Salary: FTE £23,115 (actual pro-rata £18,117) per annum

If you are considering a career in education, coaching or other sports related pathways, this is an exciting opportunity to gain experience working in a flourishing PE department with excellent facilities.

As a Graduate/Under-Graduate Assistant, you will be based in the junior school, working closely with the PE department and other sports coaches, primarily assisting them in coaching, team management, umpiring and team-teaching PE.

It is expected that you will add to the profile of sport at the school, demonstrating enthusiasm and energy and inspiring participation at this exciting time in the development of sport at Blackheath High School.

You will need to be able to coach/lead at least two of the following– Hockey, Netball, Dance, Cricket or Athletics.
