Contract: Permanent

Hours: Part time, 4 days per week, term time only plus 5 days

Blackheath High School is looking to appoint an experienced, well-qualified School Counsellor to work as part of the pastoral team.

The role will primarily involve counselling students from the Senior School but some work with older Junior School pupils will also be required. The role is part-time, 4 days per week and term-time plus 5 days only.

The ideal candidate will possess a post-graduate diploma or Master’s qualification in Counselling or Psychotherapy, with a specialist qualification in child and adolescent work. BACP Accreditation, UKCP or BPC registration or registration with an equivalent recognised awarding body is essential. Previous experience working in a school setting is desirable.
