SEND Learning Support Assistant

Required from: September 2020

Contract term: 6 month Fixed Term Contract

Hours: 36 Hours per week, Term Time only

Salary: Pro-rata £17,790 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to support a pupil with an EHCP, on a one to one basis, within an exceptional school. The role will involve providing practical assistance to enable them to access the curriculum and to develop social and communication skills within a class and group setting.

The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 3 qualification, along with experience of working with SEND pupils. It is essential that the LSA has training and experience in working with children with special educational needs, including a language disorder, and is able to attend SALT sessions so as to receive ongoing training.
