As part of shared project within the GDST, our Year 3 girls learnt French vocabulary related to colours, 2D shapes and body parts to write a detailed description of a scary monster. They also illustrated their writing with a fun portrait. 

To hide the picture, the work will be folded and sent to Bromley, Sydenham and Sutton High Schools. Once received, the pupils will focus on the writing, drawing their own version of what they can understand in the description. They will then flip the sheet over and discover how close their portrait is to the initial one!

We have just completed our part and are looking forward to receving the work from the other GDST girls.
