We’re proud to announce that Stella, a member of our Head Student Team, received a Highly Commended award as part of the Somerville and Gurney general essay exam for two thought-provoking essays.

Her pieces were praised by the judging panel for tackling topical issues with insight and originality. The first explored the ethics of celebrities like Katy Perry venturing into space, and the second responded to a quote questioning the relevance of feminism in the context of young men’s attitudes toward the movement.
