The Futures Department has had another extremely busy year, with many interesting events, opportunities and speakers for students. Our Wollstonecraft Speaker Series continues to engage and educate and we are particularly grateful to all speakers who give up their time to inspire the next generation. 

One big change this year was the relocation of our work experience programme to the Unifrog platform. Year 11 and Year 12 students can now plan their work experience via the tool on the Unifrog platform; all students have an account that they can login to and parents can also see what progress is being made. Please see details of impressive placements undertaken by Year 11 students summer 2023 later on in the newsletter. 

Please note that work experience for Year 11 takes place in the last two full weeks of the Summer Term: Monday 24 June – Friday 5 July 2024. Year 12 should source work experience in their own time and undertake it any point throughout the year. 

And finally: congratulations to the new Year 12 Careers Ambassadors who have joined our current Year 13 students Jasmin Chance and Beatrix Edmunds. Well done to: Tarika Anand, Laila Kelly, Alina Pape, Tiana To, and Anwita Vedula.
