Bunting fit for a King

The Junior School came together as a community to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III, making beautiful bunting to decorate the school. Sienna (Year 5), Beatrice (Year 5), Rose (Year 3), and sisters Isla (Year 5) and Aisling (Reception) were among the mixed buddy groups across the school who brought in material from home to turn into bunting.

Sarah Skevington, Head of the Junior School, was delighted with the bunting, saying, "Making decorations for the King's Coronation has been such a lovely way to bring our school together, with pupils from Reception to Year 6 working together in buddy groups to create something really beautiful. With a keen eye on sustainability, all the bunting is made from red, white and blue recycled materials which pupils sourced at home and brought into school to sew together into one large decoration the whole school can enjoy."

Over at Senior School, our Senior Leadership team sported some great Union Jack outfits and the whole school were treated to a lovely luncheon with the obligatory British scone and cupcakes.
