Tough mudders - Glastonbury-style fun in the New Forest

Overcoming a few obstacles on the way, I am delighted to say that the Year 10 Silver Duke of Edinburgh's Award participants successfully completed their qualifying expedition.

The first hurdle was to navigate the train strikes to arrive in the New Forest on time! Then came the rain, mud, more rain and then more mud... I joined the students at the end of their second day to see how they were getting on and to deliver some cake for Lillia-Rose's birthday. I have never seen a 'Colin the Caterpillar' be devoured at such speed! All the students passed their expedition section with flying colours and amazing feedback from their assessors. Well done to all the girls.
