Parachute games 

• Year 1 enjoyed a fun and colourful lesson of parachute games in the Junior School hall! 

Climbing 

• Well done to our amazing GCSE PE group in their recent residential trip. A great few days of climbing, getting out of their comfort zones and pushing through to perform to a high level!  

Netball 

• The Y6 A&B Netball teams played in a tournament at Farringtons School on Friday 24 February, with victories all round. The Y6A team won all their matches & the Y6B team won 4 and drew 1 . This was a great warm-up for our Year 6A team before they departed to Condover Hall for the weekend. 

• Netball residential at Condover Hall in Shrewsbury - Years 6 & 8 had an energetic netball residential at Condover Hall. Award winners by the end of the weekend were: 

• Players player (nominated by the girls themselves) – Summer and Sienna 

• Most improved player (nominated by Ms. Ndagire) – Claudia and Siyanna 

• Coaches’ player – Alice and Matilda 

• Year 6A team came 3rd out of 7 teams by the end of the GDST round robin tournament on Saturday and qualified for the Cup tournament on Sunday – however they were ultimately knocked out by Croydon High & Notting Hill. A great display of netball skills from everyone - well done!  

• A well contested match at Sydenham High for our Senior School netball against a strong side. Player of the match: Sienna

• A huge well done to our GCSE PE group, who had a brilliant netball performance at St Dunstan’s with some awesome interceptions and strong attacking play. 

• Well done to U12 A&B netball teams on their excellent performances. A’s finished 1st and B’s 2nd in their recent tournament. Players of the Match: Elsie and Felicity 

GDST Sports Scholars Day 

• Our scholars had a wonderful and insightful day at the GDST Sports Scholars Day at Sutton High – thank you to Sutton for hosting.
