Pulling out all the stops at Senior Sports Day

Under a blazing hot sun, our girls put on their House tops and prepared to face the competition for our annual Senior Sports Day. Although it was incredibly hot, it was an exciting and positive day with truly impressive performances by all which included nine school records being broken!

During the morning, there were field events and track events for the House Athletics, along with the House Tennis tournament. After lunch, we watched some fantastic and hard fought relays, the House tug-of-war and the House rounders tournament.

There were smiles aplenty with so many girls from Years 7-10 taking part across all sports and our wonderful Sixth Formers helping run events. A huge thank to all those who helped on the day from teaching and support staff, to groundsmen and catering.

The final results:

  • Rounders – Paragon
  • Tennis – Vanbrugh
  • Tug-of-war – Paragon
  • Athletics – Vanbrugh

The overall Sports Day winner was Vanbrugh - well done!
