Designed for girls
We remain proudly single-sex in our Sixth Form because the advantages for girls are clear. Decades of research show that girls often achieve more academically in all-girls environments, where they participate more freely, take greater intellectual risks, and develop stronger confidence in their abilities – particularly in subjects where girls are still underrepresented.
But the strongest evidence is found in our own students. Girls thrive here because they can be entirely themselves: free from external pressures, supported by a community that believes in them, and surrounded by peers who lift one another up. The young women who leave us are self-assured, ambitious and grounded in a strong sense of self.
