At its heart is our PowerSkills Toolkit, based on research from the World Economic Forum. You’ll develop the high-value skills that will shape the future workplace – from leadership, collaboration and analytical thinking, to resilience, creativity and curiosity. Whether you’re preparing for university, a degree apprenticeship or going straight into industry, the Futures programme helps you stand out and feel ready for whatever comes next.

Wollstonecraft Speaker Series
Named after pioneering writer, philosopher and women’s rights advocate Mary Wollstonecraft, this inspiring speaker series is designed to spark curiosity and open your mind to new ideas.
Every fortnight, you’ll hear from experts across a huge range of fields – from medical physics and cyber-security to opera, law, media and data science. They share their journeys, challenges and lessons learned along the way. No matter their path, our speakers have one thing in common: they remind us that success often comes from curiosity, people skills, resilience and the ability to adapt to change. Their stories will leave you motivated, informed and ready to find your own path. You will also benefit from the opportunity to network with speakers and develop important connections which could be the building blocks for your future.
Women in Leadership
Our flagship Women in Leadership event is designed to inspire and empower you to step confidently into future leadership roles. You’ll spend the day hearing from trailblazing professionals across industries such as sustainability, AI, gaming and the arts, taking part in workshops, idea-sharing and networking sessions that help you find your voice and sharpen your thinking.
