TRAVELLING TO SCHOOL
getting here
Both Blackheath High Junior and Senior School sites are incredibly well situated, with an extensive range of transport options available.
As a sustainable school, we actively seek out ways to reduce pollution and ensure our students can travel to school in an environmentally-friendly way – we encourage families to walk, cycle or scoot to school, or take advantage of convenient transport links.
SCHOOL BUSES
We run a flexible transport service for students to travel to and from school, either by school coach operated by travel specialists Vectare, or by private minibus, allowing students from a wide area of London the opportunity to easily access our excellent education. Explore our routes below – we may also be able to add stops to existing routes; simply contact us for more information.
Our coaches and buses are used exclusively by our pupils from Reception upwards, with pupils supported by a chaperone as well as a driver. These services are a popular choice, ensuring children arrive at school safely and prepared for the day.
The network is extensive and adapts each year according to the needs of our community. It includes direct services from the City of London, Tower Gateway, Victoria Park, Hackney, Canary Wharf, Isle of Dogs, North Greenwich, Deptford, Brockley, Lewisham, Greenwich, Woolwich, Eltham and Chislehurst.
