Our Girl emPowered Scholarship programme offers scholars a whole host of opportunities across the year – from prestigious competitions such as Maths and Languages Olympiads at Oxbridge, to the coveted Academic Scholars’ Cafe Society.
This term, the annual Academic Scholars’ Celebration Evening brought together students, families and staff to recognise our Academic Scholars’ achievements and celebrate another inspiring year of scholarship. The evening was accompanied by performances from our Drama and Music Scholars.
Co-Heads of Academic Scholarships, Ms Banks and Ms Day, reflected on the year’s achievements before presenting the Year 7 Presentation Project Award to Charlotte and Emily for their compelling presentation, Can We Survive in Space?
We were also delighted to welcome Alex Hunt MW as our guest speaker. Alex encouraged students to embrace intellectual curiosity and the joy of learning for its own sake, leaving the audience with his memorable rallying cry of “Team Socrates!”
