join the family

At Blackheath High, you’re not just joining a school – you’re becoming part of a close-knit, supportive community. Girls build lifelong friendships and share in the joy of new experiences with their friends, from school trips and co-curricular clubs to whole-school celebrations and performances.

Families are warmly welcomed into school life too. Parents and carers play an active role, whether it’s cheering at Sports Day, enjoying performances or speaking at events.

BHSA

Our parent association, the BHSA, sits at the heart of this community. Entirely run by volunteers, it brings together pupils, families and staff from the Junior and Senior Schools through a calendar of fun, inclusive events, from quiz nights and fairs to Christmas wreath making and the wonderful annual summer festival. The BHSA also runs the incredibly popular second-hand uniform shop, allowing parents to shop sustainably. All funds raised go straight back into enriching school life.

There are lots of ways to get involved – whether you’re helping at the coffee shop, donating uniform, running a stall at one of the many events or simply connecting with other families over a cup of tea, it’s a brilliant way to feel part of the school and make new friends.
