Blackheath High School is a central London school for girls aged 3-18, situated on the edge of Royal Greenwich Park with a beautiful village feel, a stone’s throw from Canary Wharf and the City.

Our Open Mornings are the perfect opportunity to explore everything that makes our school such an exceptional environment for girls – across Blackheath High Nursery, Junior School, Senior School and Sixth Form. Each programme includes talks from the Head, guided tours led by our friendly pupils, the chance to meet our experienced subject teachers, exciting taster activities, delicious food and much more.

Our Sixth Form is designed for independence and growth. It is a place where you’ll be supported, challenged and inspired to achieve your goals and thrive beyond school. Junior School Open Morning

At Blackheath High Junior School, girls find their voice, discover their passions and develop a genuine love of learning that stays with them for life.
Join us on Saturday 26 September and experience first-hand the energy, expertise and strong sense of community that makes this the perfect place for your daughter to begin her journey.
Our event – starting at 9.15am – will give you the opportunity to:
- Hear from our Junior School Head and learn about what makes Blackheath High such an exceptional environment; and from the Head of Blackheath High School on the benefits of an all-through school for girls aged 3-18
- Explore our classrooms and facilities, guided by knowledgeable Blackheath High girls
- Learn about the academically outstanding curriculum and take part in exciting interactive activities across the school, from Art to Debating, DT to Robotics
- Meet our experienced specialist teachers, including native French speakers, experts in ballet and sport and our Head of Music
- Get a taste of our wide range of clubs and co-curricular activities, and enjoy a performance from our award-winning Junior School Choir

There is no better inspiration for a little girl than seeing our state-of-the-art facilities up close, watching our older students in action, and catching her first glimpse of what her own future could look like.
As an all-through school, we recommend prospective Junior School parents also visit our Senior School to get a sense of the exciting learning journey awaiting your daughter.
Our Senior School Open Morning takes place at our Senior School on Vanbrugh Park from 9am-12pm on Saturday 19 September – book for Seniors now.

We will be running a special Discover Early Years Stay & Play session at our Junior School Open Morning, offering you and your daughter the chance to experience all our Nursery and Reception have to offer; from our specialist teaching and immersive indoor and outdoor spaces, the warm, nurturing environment where every girl is known and supported to thrive. Nursery & Reception Stay & Play

In Early Years, Nursery and Reception are where your daughter’s educational adventure truly begins – these early years lay the foundations for all future learning.
We warmly welcome you to join us on Saturday 26 September and discover the joyful, nurturing environment where your daughter will embark on her very first journey of discovery.
We will be running a special Nursery & Reception Stay & Play session, offering you and your daughter the chance to discover all that we have to offer – from our specialist teaching and immersive indoor and outdoor spaces, the warm, nurturing environment where every girl is known and supported to thrive.
Timings
- 9.00-9.30am : begin your day at a Discover Early Years Stay & Play session
- 10.00-10.45am: take a tour of our school and Forest School
- 11am – Hear from our Heads and learn about what makes Blackheath High such an exceptional environment
- Throughout the morning: Learn about the academically outstanding curriculum, visit our Forest School, meet our experienced specialist teachers, get a taste of our wide range of clubs and co-curricular activities, and enjoy a performance from our award-winning Junior School Choir
