Learning Support Assistant (SEND)

Hours: 36 Hours per week, Term Time only

Salary: £24,000 - £26,500 (pro-rata £19,027 - £21,485) per annum

This is an exciting opportunity for a SEND Learning Support Assistant to contribute to facilitating SEND students’ access to learning, promoting inclusion, assessing and supporting achievement and monitoring progress, within an exceptional school. The role will involve encouraging and supporting the learning of individual students or small groups by complementing teaching and learning strategies deployed by the SENDCo.

The ideal candidate will have the relevant qualifications appropriate to learning support, along with experience of working with SEND students, enabling them to achieve high standards.

Salary is in accordance with GDST national scale (according to qualifications and experience), higher than the maintained sector salary scale.
