The role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Chemistry teacher to work in a well-resourced and flourishing department. This is a key role which would suit an ambitious, well qualified individual, wishing to make a significant impact on the success of the school and to enhance the girls' education, through both curricular and co-curricular activities.

The successful candidate will teach Chemistry across all age groups, from Year 7 to A level. Willingness to teach across the Science faculty and to offer Biology would be an advantage.   Students attain excellent examination results and Science is a popular subject at Advanced level.

About the Science Faculty

Chemistry is an important and popular subject at Blackheath High with an impressive record of success at all levels and we are proud of the number of girls who go on to study Science and related disciplines at university. Pupils also enjoy taking part in Science related clubs and competitions.

About the School
