This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Teacher of Maths to work in a well-resourced and flourishing Maths department.

This is a key role which would suit an ambitious, well qualified individual wishing to make a significant impact on the success of the school and to enhance the girls' education, through both curricular and co-curricular activities.

The successful candidate should be an enthusiastic and well-qualified teacher of Mathematics, able to meet the rewarding challenge of inspiring our motivated girls from Year 7 to Sixth Form, both inside and outside the classroom. The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across all age groups, from Year 7 to A level. An ability to teach Further Mathematics would be an advantage.

About the Maths Faculty

Maths is an important and flourishing subject at Blackheath High with an impressive record of success at all levels and we are proud of the number of girls who go on to study Mathematics and related disciplines at university. Students also enjoy taking part in Mathematics related clubs and competitions.

Students attain excellent examination results and Mathematics is a popular subject at Advanced level.
