Year 2 had beaming smiles during their Animal Encounters workshops. The girls met a Madagascan hissing cockroach, a scorpion, a gecko, a chinchilla and a corn snake. They showed such curiosity and demonstrated an impressive grasp of scientific vocabulary. Well done brave girls!

As part of the fortnight, our girls spoke with other GDST students planning to live, study and work in the cities they'll be moving to, providing a great chance to make friends ahead of the big move. Exciting! 👍

Our Nursery girls have been learning the benefits of gardening to help boost mental health. The girls have enjoyed planting both flower and vegetable seeds, dead-heading bulbs and watering the forget-me-nots and bluebells. You can find out more here:

Nursery have been learning the letter ‘v’ and the girls decided to make v..v..volcanoes from papier-mâché and paint. The girls then carried out an experiment to create lava from bicarbonate of soda and vinegar. Wow! 🌋
