Switch Off Fortnight 2021 was an opportunity for Blackheath High School and our Green Team to monitor electricity usage in school, to save energy and help protect the planet.

Students from Eco Club at the Senior School and the Eco Prefects in the Junior School kept an eye on the classrooms (and the teachers) to make sure Smartboards, laptops, lights, and any other electronic devices not being used, were switched off.

The average energy saving reported by schools taking part in the Switch off Fortnight was 10%. Thank you to all our Switch Off monitors for taking part!
