This is an unrivalled opportunity to lead the marketing and communications team at Blackheath High at an extremely exciting time in its development.

As Director of Marketing, you will play a central role in continuing to build the reputation of the School and ensure it continues to be first choice for parents and students in the catchment area. You will lead the marketing team in developing a first-class understanding of the school’s market and use this understanding to develop an innovative and effective marketing and communications plan.  You will find original ways to promote the successes and activities of the school, attracting high calibre students for admission through PR, advertising and liaison with feeder schools and parents. You will work with the school to schedule high quality events that showcase the school within the local and national community.

You will have an astute awareness of brand development and positioning and be familiar with the opportunities that social media gives for marketing activity. You will also have expertise in market segmentation and will be able to deploy analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to inform strategy and decisions.

You will possess excellent communication skills and a positive enthusiastic manner, thus enabling you to build relationships with others. The gravitas and experience to work with the Head, teachers, parents and members of the local community are key qualities. A willingness to be flexible and work for the good of the team are also essential.
