Through lockdown so far, Year 2 have impressed us hugely with an amazing start to guided home learning.

In Art and English, the girls excelled with their paintings of African landscapes as well as investigating comparative and superlative adjectives. They showed excellent effort on learning and applying the spelling rules. They've also been using Drama, writing and drawing to re-tell the story of the class book, Lila and the Secret of Rain. 

In Maths, they produced exceptional work on repeated addition and the multiplication signs.

From 18 January, we began offering Daily Story-times live on Teams. These provide a chance for the whole class to socialise and catch up.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank parents for all their support with Guided Home Learning and to celebrate the girls, who have been amazing!
