Our topic in Nursery this term is called ‘Let’s Celebrate’.

The Nursery girls have been finding out about different religious celebrations such as Diwali, Christmas and Hannukah. This week we have been learning about Hanukkah - The Jewish Festival of Lights and making hand-print menorah.

The celebrations didn't stop there, Year 1 had a wonderful time talking about, learning about and celebrating the Jewish festival of lights, Hanukkah.

They created beautiful crafty candles and menorah, heard stories and retold these stories in class and had lots of fun exploring this celebration with friends.
