Year 10 & 11 Water Sports Morning

Year 10 and 11 were lucky enough to take part in kayaking, rowing and sailing as part of their first Trips Day.

It was a particularly windy day and kayaking was not very easy, but the girls persevered and made sure that they got their boats going in the right direction! Rowing was done in an inside environment, which meant everyone got to perfect their technique! The girls took part in rowing machine competitions, which saw many rowing in victorious! Lastly came sailing, which was tremendous fun, seeing girls steering their own boats and taking to the water without fear, which was very brave considering the weather! It was certainly a day to remember!

We have loads of co and extra curricular activites at Blackheath High secondary school. Find out more about what it's like to study here!
