Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award completed by Year 11

During the Easter holiday, 30 Year 11 students successfully completed their Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award assessed expedition.

The expedition comprised of three days of walking and cover a period of seven hours, which is roughly 12 kilometres each day. They also had to camp for two nights. The students carried everything they needed except extra water! The conditions were good, considering how changeable the U.K climate has been recently!

Well done to all the students - I hope once their GCSE's are completed, they can focus on completing their other sections and get their well earned certificate from Greenwich Council.
