U14 Rounders squad take on Chislehurst and Sidcup school

On Wednesday 14 June, the U14 Rounders squad travelled to Chislehurst and Sidcup School for what was to be tough game for both teams, especially in such hot conditions.

Despite the heat, the ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams were raring to go, ready to put their skills to the test. Both games were exciting and there were lots of catches from both sides which meant that the scores were kept quite low. Unfortunately, Chislehurst and Sidcup just had the upper hand with their batting and managed to score a greater number of runs.

The final score was:

  • A – 9 ½ – 5 to Chislehurst and Sidcup
  • B – 9 – 7 ½ to Chislehurst and Sidcup

Our Players of the Match were Ieva and Esther.

There were some great examples of individual talent, team work, determination and positive spirit. The girls now know what they need to work on in training in order to succeed in the upcoming Chislehurst and Sidcup tournament on Wednesday 5 July. Overall, a great experience. Well done everyone!
